Applicability
These conditions apply to all quotations, bookings and services of DJL SHIPPING B.V. Transport is additionally governed by the applicable international conventions, including the CMR Convention for road carriage, the Montreal Convention for air carriage and the Hague-Visby Rules for sea carriage.
Quotations
Quotations are based on the information provided by the customer and are valid for the period stated. Prices exclude VAT, duties and taxes unless stated otherwise.
Customer obligations
The customer is responsible for accurate cargo descriptions, weights, dimensions and documents, and for packaging suitable for the chosen transport mode. Dangerous goods must be declared in advance.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the limits of the applicable convention or law. We recommend cargo insurance for goods of significant value, which we can arrange on request.
Claims
Visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt. Claims must be reported in writing with the tracking number and supporting photographs as soon as possible after delivery.
Governing law
These conditions are governed by Dutch law.
